Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Support Analyst to join our growing technology team. This unique hybrid role is perfect for an early-career professional passionate about the entire data lifecycle. You will be responsible for maintaining our database systems, contributing to the design of our data architecture, and developing effective data models. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of database administration, data modeling principles, and modern cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Database Administration & Support:
- Perform routine database maintenance, including backups, restores, and performance tuning to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Manage user access, security protocols, and permissions to safeguard our data assets.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely support to internal teams.
- Data Architecture & Modeling:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of data models (conceptual, logical, physical) to meet business requirements.
- Contribute to the evolution of our cloud-based data architecture, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and secure.
- Help create and maintain documentation for data standards, data dictionaries, and architectural blueprints.
- Cloud & Integration:
- Support data integration tasks between various on-premise and cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Work with senior team members to deploy and manage database solutions within our cloud environment.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all platforms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data-related role (e.g., database administration, data analysis, or similar).
- Speaking / Familiar with Mandarin language due his relationship with HQ.(Mandatory)
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulation, and definition.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major relational database management system (RDBMS) like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and tools (e.g., Erwin, Lucidchart, draw.io).
- A solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure).
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to data quality.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Familiar with Mandarin language due his relationship with HQ.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
