Job Summary
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) manager will be responsible for providing financial and operating decision support with timely, accurate reports and relevant risks, opportunities and action plans as a key member of leadership. This individual is responsible for serving as a thought-partner supporting their planning, forecasting and reporting activities, as well as driving business analysis and maintain financial stability by establishing financial frameworks, monitoring and improving financial performance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Develop presentations and analysis of Annual Business Plan for management level discussions
- Manage forecast process including monthly/quarterly updates
- Establish and maintain KPIs/ scorecard for business
- Perform detail management reporting/operating expense reports and analysis to local department heads, senior management and China HQ office.
- Preparing and coordinating management presentations including Monthly Operating Reviews
- Perform monthly/Quarterly variance analysis of budgeted, forecasted and actual financial performance, clearly interpreting variance drivers. Organize and evaluate quantitative data to identify and explain trends, problems, and root causes. Recommend key actions of process improvements, cost cutting effort, pricing strategy to improve financial performance.
- Work closely with the Sales and Product marketing to understand and track core business drivers to achieve team and company's strategic goals, including sales price/cost management and monitoring.
- Create value-added analyses around growth opportunities, expense optimization, core business metrics to drive better decisions and results.
- Build and maintain ad hoc complex financial models to support internal/external analysis and reporting
- Take initiative to review the existing processes, leading re-engineer and automate management reporting processes.
- Special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and/or Business degree in Accounting or Finance is required. MBA is preferred
- Must have minimum 5 years of Finance management or relevant experience
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Ability to manage tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent customer focus, ability to partner closely with internal customers
- Desire to consistently exceed expectations and take on more responsibility
- Advanced Excel modeling skills is required
