Job Summary:
As one of the IT team members that supports enterprise applications with the primary focus on the logistic/warehouse management, yard management applications such as WMS, YMS, WCS etc. and the corresponding business process supported.
Role requires to collaborate with Software Vendor(s), IT development team, Business units including warehouse, distribution, transportation, sales and customer service teams at Midea, ensuring consistent availability of distribution business functionality and effective communications between systems. Ensure warehouse distribution related IT projects delivered as business need and on-time, provide reliable delivery of live application services, paramount responsibility is ensuring that application users facing transactions are processed efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support logistics team for planning new warehouse setup, including hardware and software which are managed under IT, Coordinate resources to complete based on plan.
- Guide/follow up with business team to output business requirements and blueprint document, follow up to get software build project(s) approved
- Support logistics team on technology selection, SOW/contract negotiation/ signoff (if applicable)
- Project management
1. Develop software project implementation plan, manage project to ensure required deliverables output, project going live based on project plan which is confirmed by project sponsor(s).
2. Coordinate resources to fix any issues during project implementation
3. Periodically report project progress/Risks to all stakeholders
4. Lead cutover/contingency planning
5. Lead the process of project acceptance verification/close - Applications Support
1. Conduct system configuration (if needs)
2. 1st line support and monitor active support tickets and expedite resolution working with the vendor. Applications user management, maintain user access based on business needs, license management.
3. Jointly own with the vendor for the delivery of enhancements, break-fixes, patches, updates and
upgrades.
4. Perform root cause analysis on production application and integration failures and drive necessary remediation of defects. Coordinate resolution on serious incidents and extraordinary requirements
5. Coordinate the Business/IT team and vendor to fix issues and planning around WMS/YMS. Ensure that the agreed upon service delivery SLAs are met.
6. Periodically analyze tickets, for the issues brought significant impact to business or occurred
frequently, work together with logistic/warehouse/ vendor team to develop long-term resolutions/plans and follow up on execution 7. Participate in development of disaster recovery plans and annual testing for each assigned application based on business criticality. Provide input to ensure disaster recovery documentation is current and complete with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. - Business Domain Application Roadmap management & Continuous improvement:
1. Maintain a roadmap for all significant updates to the warehouse and distribution applications.
2. Be WMS/YMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for major enhancements and upgrades. Participate in business process improvement and re- engineering efforts, ensure the business processes standardize and simplify operations and adhere to a best practice.
3. Work with the vendor and other IT teams to promote further automation and process streamlining.
4. Jointly deliver with the Business, a cost benefit analysis for all significant spending on
WMS/YMS.
5. Be a positive and active force for change programs and user adoption around WMS/YMS. Develop and maintain documentation including business process flows as shared between different applications, WMS/YMS process dataflows, integration mappings, system context diagrams, system and data interfaces, and controls for each application.
- Logistics /warehouse data management: Ensure housekeeping routines and data quality standards are followed.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant major or equivalent experience
- More than 5 years software implementation projects management experience is required. Experience with agile development methodologies and SDLC best practices.
- Highly developed troubleshooting/root cause analysis skills experience is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to tailor approach based on audience and message, business requirements elicitation skills and experience are required.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills that inspire and build trust for effective working relationships across the company is required.
- Willing to learn.
- Experience with integration technologies and familiarity with concepts - XML, Web Services, APls, etc. is required.
- Be willing to spend approximately 20% of the year to travel if needs.
- Available to provide on-call support if needed.

- May have to lift less than 50 pounds and sit at desk for long amounts of lime.
Salary: $120k/year-$140k/year
