Position: (Senior) Product Manager Location : Hybrid work in Greater Dallas Area, Tx KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Research and understand the residential and light commercial HVAC industry, the company’s products, and sales channels. • Gather and analyze pertinent data as input to product strategies including market/competitive intelligence, ASHRAE guidelines/standards, industry trends, etc. • Identify product strategies, solutions and tools including competitive comparisons, feature/benefit value, product gap analysis, and sales tools creation. • Work closely with other product managers, engineers, factory, and other internal departments to provide product management and application solutions to North America customers to help grow sales, revenue, and margins. • Develop and maintain multi-year product roadmap for the residential and light commercial products for North America market and ensure the alignment of the roadmap with company’s overall long term and short term product strategies. • Gather voice of the customer, research, propose, and guide solution approaches with new product introduction and product enhancement projects. • Work with the sales force and be viewed as an expert regarding product sales and application opportunities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • BA/BS degree with 5+ years’ experience (3 years for product specialist) in HVAC engineering and/or product management • Experience and knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC applications and market dynamics preferred • Ability to work in self-directed manner across multiple functional disciplines to identify needs of the organization and/or customer, articulate necessary proposals and see projects through from concept to completion • Strong analytical skills and ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesis in both graphic and verbal format for easy understanding by the target audience • Strong written and oral communication skills • Demonstrate self-initiative, sense of ownership, quality work, and customer focus |
