Role Summary

The Senior Brand Manager leads end-to-end marketing for a core product portfolio across Air Conditioning, Home Comfort, and Small Appliances—owning how our brands shows up across digital, retail, and in-store environments.

This role is focused on exceptional execution—translating product and consumer insights into breakthrough go-to-market strategies, high-converting content, and best-in-class retail experiences that win where it matters most: on the shelf and at the moment of decision.

This role will be located in Parsippany, NJ and report to Head of Marketing, Midea America.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Go-To-Market Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end GTM for new product launches and key initiatives
  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Orchestrate integrated execution across digital, retail, and owned channels

 

2. Consumer-Centric Storytelling

  • Turn complex product features into simple, compelling, “must-have” benefits
  • Ensure consistency and clarity across all touchpoints: PDP, packaging, retail, and campaigns
  • Champion the voice of the consumer across all marketing outputs

3. Channel & Retail Excellence

  • Partner with Sales to tailor marketing plans by channel (Mass, Club, DIY)
  • Translate brand strategy into channel-right execution that drives conversion
  • Lead development of retailer-specific marketing plans and content to win at key accounts

3. Digital Shelf & Content

  • Own development of high-performing PDPs and digital content
  • Translate product features into benefit-led messaging that converts
  • Continuously optimize content based on performance data, ratings, and reviews

 

4. In-Store & Packaging Strategy

  • Own in-store experience from packaging to shelf presence
  • Develop packaging that clearly communicates value, simplifies decision-making, and stands out in a crowded aisle
  • Partner with Sales and Retail teams on merchandising, displays, and in-store storytelling

5. Club Channel Leadership

  • Lead packaging and value-story development for Club (e.g., Costco, Sam’s)
  • Optimize for high-velocity, limited-SKU environments with clear, compelling “why buy” messaging
  • Ensure execution delivers against Club shopper expectations: simplicity, value, and instant clarity

6. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Product, Sales, eCommerce, and Creative teams to deliver best-in-class execution
  • Influence without authority to drive alignment, speed, and quality

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree a must
  • 8-10+ years in Marketing (Home Comfort, CPG, durables, appliances, or similar)
  • Proven ability to lead product launches and GTM planning
  • Ability to simplify complex products into clear, compelling consumer messaging
  • Experience in retail and channel marketing, including in-store execution
  • Fast, flexible, resilient, with a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage projects and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
