Position Overview:

Midea America is seeking a high-impact National Account Manager to lead the Best Buy business with a primary focus on launching Major Appliances, including Laundry and Kitchen categories.

 

This is a rare and highly visible opportunity to build a business rather than inherit one. The individual in this role will help shape assortment strategy, promotional programs, merchandising presence, customer relationships, and long-term growth plans for one of Midea’s most strategic retail partners.

 

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, analytical, and energized by the opportunity to build something meaningful in a fast-growth environment.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and lead the strategic business plan for Best Buy across Major Appliance categories.
  • Lead the launch of Midea Major Appliances at Best Buy, including assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and execution.
  • Build and manage annual joint business plans that drive profitable sales growth and long-term category expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities online and in-store, including distribution gains, display opportunities, and digital growth initiatives.
  • Develop strong relationships with merchant and cross-functional customer stakeholders.
  • Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement action plans to exceed targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including product management, marketing, supply chain, finance, operations, and service to deliver best-in-class execution.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and demand planning in partnership with customer and internal planning teams.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally to influence priorities, improve responsiveness, and unlock growth.
  • Achieve assigned KPIs for sales volume, profitability, share growth, and strategic objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of strategic sales or national account management experience.
  • Experience selling to or supporting Best Buy business.
  • Proven success building customer relationships and delivering profitable growth.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Home appliance category experience preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality.
  • Self-starter with grit, curiosity, and a bias for action.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
