The Demand Planner is responsible for ensuring supply alignment to meet customer demand while maintaining healthy inventory levels. This role serves as the primary planning interface across cross-functional teams, driving forecast accuracy, optimizing supply utilization, and supporting business growth through data-driven planning processes.

 

What will you do?

• Challenge and validate commercial assumptions through trend analysis, historical performance, market insights, and demand signals.
• Promote a One Number culture through the adoption of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) best practices and data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor and improve key planning KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Fill Rate, Inventory Health, Excess & Obsolete Inventory, Aging Inventory, and Months on Hand (MOH).
• Support the digitalization of planning processes through advanced analytics, automation, and reporting tools.
• Approve, release, and monitor the status of production and purchase requisitions.
• Develop priorities and communicate with support functions while taking an active role in problem resolution as required.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and maximize customer fulfillment.
• Regularly update work order due dates based on fluctuations in internal capacity and factory delivery schedules.
• Keep the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager informed of any changes affecting production or procurement lead times to ensure planning data remains accurate and up to date.
• Regularly monitor and update safety stock levels in the system as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve current planning processes and recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, and Logistics.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced English proficiency.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• A proactive, disciplined, and results-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
